Strength For the Faint Hearted
Isaiah 40:29,30 NKJV
29 He gives power to the weak, And to those who have no might He increases strength.
30 Even the youths shall faint and be weary, And the young men shall utterly fall,
Isaiah writes these words to the children of Israel in response to their claim that God does not respond to their troubles. They are facing judgment,(captivity in Babylon for their idolatry).
This chapter promises Grace from God.
Notice.
- God gives power to the weak.
- God increases strength to those who are worn out.
- Understand that even young people become exhausted and give up.
The Holy Spirit is saying , listen My children.
- It is understandable that at times you feel weak and tempted to give up.
- Know that the power of the Holy Spirit, who indwells you, will enable you to continue.
- Whether you are a new believer or a seasoned believer, times of testing can cause you to want to give up.
- Stand firm in the truth that God has you.
Meditate on the voice of God who is speaking to you now saying I am providing strength for your faint heart, (times of weakness).
Thank God that He keeps His promise to never leave you or forsake you,(Hebrews 13:5).
Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ (2 Corinthians 1:2 NKJV). Love ya Webster
