Tremble Before Your Holy God
Psalm 96:9 NKJV
9. Oh, worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness! Tremble before Him, all the earth.
Psalm 96 is a song of praise to God.
Notice:
1. Oh worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness.
2. Tremble before Him all the earth.
Child of God:
• In 1 Peter 1:15-17 Peter quotes Leviticus 19:2 and Leviticus 20:26 where God said be ye holy because I Am Holy.
• Jesus said that worship to God must be in Spirit and truth, He was referring to holiness, (John 4:24).
• When God said tremble before Him He was saying to stand in awe, to shake as a results of your reverence for Him.
• All the earth is commanded to tremble before a Holy God.
• TREMBLE BEFORE JESUS YOUR GOD.
Meditate on the awesome God who commands you to tremble in reverence for Him.
Thank God that He is pleased with your worship.
May God "teach you to number your days, that you may gain a heart of wisdom" (Psalm 90:12, NKJV). Love Ya Webster
