A New You
Romans 12:2 NKJV
2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
Paul instructs the Roman church.
Notice:
1. They are not to copy the behavior and customs of their environment, this brings wounds.
2. They are to allow God to make them into new persons.
3. God would make them new by changing their thought process; this brings wisdom.
4. If they allow God to change the way they think, they will be aware of God’s purpose for them; the fear of God is the beginning of wisdom.
5. If they were aware of God’s purpose for them, they would know the joy of being in His perfect will.
Child of God:
Today God is speaking to you.
• He wants you to know the joy of being in His perfect will.
• He wants you to know what His purpose is for you.
• If you will allow Him, He will make you a new person by changing the way you think.
• When you allow God to change the way you think, you will have the strength to speak out against the immoral behavior of your environment.
• Allow God to transform you from the hurt of this world into the wisdom of His Love and guidance.
Meditate on the joy you will receive when you are doing what God purposed you to do on this earth.
Thank God for a new you.
