A Call To Worship
Psalms 95: 1-5 NKJV
1 Oh come, let us sing to the Lord! Let us shout joyfully to the Rock of oursalvation. 2 Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving; Let us shout joyfully to Him with psalms. 3 For the Lord is the great God, And the great King above all gods.4 In His hand are the deep places of the earth; The heights of the hills are His also .5 The sea is His, for He made it; And His hands formed the dry land.
The psalmist issues a call for worship and obedience.
Notice:
Vs. 1-2 commands you to praise the Lord!
1. Sing and shout joyously to the Lord.
2. Be thankful in His presence.
Vs. 3-5 provide reasons why you should praise the Lord.
1. He is a great God.
2. The King above all gods
3. He created and controls the entire universe.
• Deep places of the earth
• Heights of the hills
• The sea
• The dry land
Child of God:
• Today, JUST BECAUSE HE IS GOD –SPEND TIME IN HIS PRESENCE.
• Worship and bow down;
• Kneel before the LORD your Maker.
• He is your God,
• He created everything including you!
Meditate on His Greatness.
Meditate on how pleased God is that you are obedient to His call to worship.
Thank God for His anointed Word.
