Immanuel
Isaiah 7:14 NKJV
“Therefore, the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a Son, and shall call His name Immanuel.
God gave this message to the prophet Isaiah to give to King Ahaz of Judah. This message to King Ahaz was a sign that his enemies would be defeated.
Notice:
- A virgin would become impregnated.
- A virgin will give birth to a male child.
- The child’s Name will be Immanuel, (God with us).
Child of God:
Meditate on this awesome prophecy that has now been fulfilled.
- The male child Jesus.
- Born of the Virgin Mary.
- Fulfilled this prophecy.
- He is your sign that your enemies, (death, hell, and the grave), have been defeated.
- He is your sign of His eternal Love for you.
- Jesus conquered death, hell & the grave so that you might live.
- All who accept His penal substitutionary death have eternal life.
Meditate on this Truth.
Give thanks for the Savior Jesus the Christ!!
Thank God that He is within you in the person of the Holy Spirit.
