The Volunteer Clothed In Holiness
Psalm 110:3 NKJV
3. Your people shall be volunteers In the day of Your power; In the beauties of holiness, from the womb of the morning, You have the dew of Your youth.
This is a Psalm of David announcing the reign of the Messiah.
Notice how David progresses with this announcement of Messiah’s reign.
- Your people shall be volunteers in the day of Your power.
- In the beauty of holiness from the womb of the morning You have the dew of Your youth..
Child of God:
- The context of this verse is that when Jesus is reigning over His enemies His people will be willing vessels.
- David is saying that the Messiah will be arrayed in holy garments and that He will have renewed vigor at the dawn of each morning.
- The application for you, the baptized born again believer, is that as God’s anointed and appointed vessel you will defend His Word with renewed vigor each day.
- You the baptized born again believer will volunteer, (here am I Lord send me), to defend His Word.
- As God’s anointed vessel you are clothed with His righteousness through the Blood of Jesus.
Meditate on the on the beauty of your covering from God.
Thank God for choosing you as His holy volunteer
May the peace of God rest upon you,
Love ya, Webster
